"So you're telling me I have to travel all the way to Kumogakure?" Junpei's voice sounded irritated as he spoke to the five men seated before him with his fingers interlaced and his elbows holding them up on his desk. Each of them his Seven Swords Expedition workers he hired back in Kirigakure, before he even met the previous Mizukage Neru. They had been gone for a month and only had returned to Junpei with knowledge on a single blade. He was peeved at the workers, but he couldn't blame them for he spent many years searching for them and still had not one in his possession, so at least they had information. "Alright then, I guess this would be an opportunity to test something out . . ." He trailed off as he drummed the fingers of one of his hands on his desk. It may be risky, but if the man he met back in Kirigakure, Sketh, had stayed true to his end of the bargain, then his name should have been erased from some Bingo Book's and also his status as a Missing Ninja should be revoked.
"Alright then . . . You guys will stay here to guard the village while I'm gone then. Like always Hikaru will be staying with me, so my father is in charge." He paused a moment making sure he covered all bases and then he nodded. "Dismissed." His workers stood and nodded to him. Though a bow was respectful, they knew Junpei wasn't so fond of the gesture. Each of them filing out of his office, he was left in there alone with only his thoughts keeping him company. Soon enough Hikaru would be returning from some errands or whatever it was he did, so Junpei began to take the time to devise a letter.
