Mission Briefing

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

Having only been promoted to a chunin two days ago Akio was rather excited. While he didn't show it much in his expression he was ecstatic about being a chunin. The male sat on top of a tree branch that was rather far high up in the tree with his legs dangling over the edge. His blue hair was drifting in the wind as he was wearing his grey chunin vest. The collar hugged his neck tightly as the shoulder pads displayed the tradition Kirigakure symbol on them. Along with the vest he had a black undershirt. The boy was also wearing matching loose grey pants with wooden shoes and to top it off he had a rather large scroll that was attached to his person with straps and hung just above his waist as it clung to his back.

The boy was facing toward the village as he was waiting for someone to come out. Today he was assigned to his first B-Rank mission. The mission was to locate a troublesome group of genin that have peen preying on the weak civilians of the land. Swinging his legs ever so slightly in the humid yet cool breeze the young boy waited for his teammate to arrive. The village had another person to join him in the mission seeing as the group they would be searching for was rather large.

However while the mission was usually for ones that had earned the title of chunin or higher the village saw fit to give him a genin. Even though he was told it was because the genin was a rather skilled shinobi Akio new better. Perhaps they were telling the truth, but Akio knew the true reason was to see how well the blue haired male controlled a team. While it was just the two this would be a rather good practice exercise to see if he would be eligible to take on a squad of his own one day. That day would come at a slow pace, but the village need to get some field report and numbers to put to the chunin's name.

Thinking over how the mission would go the chunin remained seated on the tree branch while his one uncovered golden cat-like eye focused on the great village known as the Bloody Mist. Even though his mind was off day dreaming about the task ahead of the two his eyes were slowly scanning the horizon for any movement. 'The genin seems too be running late.' Akio thought to himself as he began to swing his feet once again, growing slightly impatient.

Enter, Chikara Shurajo

Being late for a mission was something Chikara expected from the likes of her own teammates, she usually taking great measures to avoid being late for such affairs, no matter how significant or insignificant said mission was. Not this time around. She didn’t know how she had done, but she had managed to do it. Be late to a mission that she was having with the likes of a Chuunin, someone she didn’t think she knew simply because she really didn’t know anybody. But that didn’t mean that she could be tardy, especially when the mission was of importance, though not important enough to warrant the attention of the Anbu, it was still important nonetheless.

Back to how she could fail to arrive on time. Chikara hadn’t slept in, having awaken four hours before the mission to prepare herself, leaving the house an hour later to get in some training. She trained for a good hour or two before deciding to head for the meeting point. So where had time been wasted? Well, whilst she was on her way to the meeting spot, she had been stopped by Lady Khala, the elderly woman who had a great many stories to tell. She had decided to greet the elder, though that had proven to be a mistake that ended with her leaving the area… at the exact time she should had been at the check point.

No matter, she would only be a couple minutes late, which was better than being extremely late. She merely hoped her partner hadn’t decided to leave for one reason or another. Chikara continued to dash on the rooftops of houses and shops that belonged to the residents of Kiri at full speed. A task that would wind most, but for the likes of the Shurajo, this was nothing. Besides, it wasn’t like she had very far left to go.

Soon enough she would arrive, and without much thought she began to apologize. “Sorry I-“ she stopped, looking at the one who she had the pleasure of meeting not too long ago, “Eh? It’s you! The one Onii-sama kept telling to shut up.” She proclaimed, pointing an accusing finger at the boy. Wasn’t this just an excellent way to begin the mission?

Akio sighed as he waited in the tree a bit longer. Adjusting the strap to the scroll that was on his back so it sat a bit more comfortable along his shoulder. Oh how Akio hated to wait for someone especially when it was concerning something as important as a B-Rank mission. While it wasn't one of the top two kinds of missions it held a good bit of important in the eyes of the young chunin. Standing up on the branch Akio was about to get down when he noticed a quick flicker of movement on the rooftops of the Kirigakure buildings. Tracking the movement with his one eye the boy watched as it stopped right below his branch.

Staring directly at the genin Akio immediately remembered her from the other day. “Sorry I-“ The girl started off before cutting her own sentence short. The boys arched his brow above his uncovered golden eye as he waited for her to finish. “Eh? It’s you! The one Onii-sama kept telling to shut up.” Nodding slowly he verified that he was indeed the boy she was referring to. Leaving only the small nod of the head the chunin left the subject as it was. He was more concerned about the task the two were assigned with.

"So you are the genin I'm suppose to be guiding through this mission. Would I be correct to assume this is your first B-Rank mission?" Akio continued to speak as he jumped out of the tree and landed with his legs slightly bent. "No matter...you are late and we don't have much time to chat. Have you been told anything about the mission at all?" The boy decide to brief the girl before the two continued. Adjusting the rather large scroll once more over his shoulder. While the scroll wasn't to big for him the strap was a bit to long and it gave the object enough slack to slide a bit when Akio jumped from the branch.

Enter, Chikara Shurajo

Chikara crossed her arms, puckering her lips as her head tilted ever so slightly downwards. She was, would one dare say it, pouting for the young man had believed it necessary to point out her tardiness, as if she didn’t already know which she obviously did. She could had remained like that for a while, sulking for quite sometime though time was of the essence. So she straighten her face, putting the smile back upon it as she nodded her head at his question. It was indeed her first B mission, for such missions were not meant for people of her rank to undertake, being dangerous and the like. So she was quite honored that she would be able to boast the fact that she went on a B mission, albeit she would only tell her father and her uncle and maybe even Lady Khala, the elder that had made her late in the first place. Perhaps her Onii-sama, Hakai, would be proud albeit he probably would expect for his students to go out on tougher missions since they were Anbu in training, or AiT as she liked to call herself.

Either way, she was excited, very much so. She beamed at the leader, listening as he inquired rather or not she had received the mission details. Which, by the way, she had not. It was like every other mission she went on that was not retrieved from the mission board but from the likes of the Mizukage. It seemed they had this odd habit of assigning mission and never handing out any information that could be very important, even vital. It was like they enjoyed seeing those below the rank of Special Jounin run about with their head cut of as new information, information not accounted for, surfaced during a mission. She guessed it taught them to be prepared for anything, as well as to improvise when necessary. Excellent lessons, but that didn’t decrease the annoyance one felt about the unexpected.

“No. Mizukage doesn’t think it necessary to share the details with me, albeit that’s quite annoying.” Chikara answered, allowing a hint of annoyance to enter her voice though never dropping her smile. Of course the recently promoted Chunin was kind enough to debrief her. “So, we are tasked with beating the hell out of some Genin and restoring the peace.” The pint-sized Genin would say, “this sounds like a great deal of fun! I’m so excited!”

Akio grinned as he heard the excitement in the genin's voice. While she might have not seemed to battle ready the girl had some fight in her, this was something that Akio couldn't deny in the least. "While that would be a good idea that is not the ideal situation young girl. While we are assigned with showing them a lesson I would like to take a more...detailed approach." Thinking about the mission even as he spoke to the person the blue haired chunin was not as prepared as he would seem. Actually he had no plan ready at all, but he would surely try his best to seem prepared. "So tell me what kind of skills you have genin. Do you happen to have anything that would help us locate these trouble makers?"

While Akio figure out just how skilled this genin was he thought back to the day they meant. Even though the meeting was short and they didn't talk to each other at all there was one thing the chunin remembered, something that peaked his interest quite a bit. When the older man that was supposedly their sensei asked her to showcase her skills she denied. This might have been a smart decision, but it surely was unexpected seeing as the man seemed to be someone she saw as some sort of role model. After all this girl was referring to the man as if they were siblings.

Starring at the genin Akio waited to hear a response. The chunin's intent truely was to handle the mission and advance their progress, but he wouldn't mind if the information did more for him. After all this could be a chance for him to learn more about his presumed squad mate. However when he asked about skills he was trying to find something that would help find the group they were after. Something along the lines of sensory techniques would be ideal seeing as it would make finding the genin much easier then walking through the land dressed as civilians. Although if it ever came down to such a thing Akio would be fine. After all what better to use as bait then a young helpless looking girl. Really the genin would look just like the ideal target for an attack if you were looking for an easy fight.

Enter, Chikara Shurajo

“Skill?” Chikara repeated, cocking her head to the side as she stared at the Chunin intensely. Her skills, something that was easy to answer for she knew what they were, but telling that to somebody she barely knew was an entirely different story. Yes, she should trust her comrades, but she had been reluctant to showcase her skills to the likes of Hakai, so showing or even telling them to this individual, her teammate may she add, didn’t sound like a good idea to her. It wasn’t like this behavior had been formed out of the blue, she had always been this way. She hadn’t jump on the bandwagon of boasting of her skills when Kaiser was her teammate, nor did she provided such information to her former sensei, Cole and when Hakai had asked, she had refused the order.

The unwillingness to mention any sort of talent she had to anyone who was not her papa or somebody close simply stemmed from a single fear. The fear was her talents being used against her. Many would say it was an irrational fear, for she should be able to trust the people of Kiri with her life. But with the stories of betrayal that she heard coupled with how she grew up for the first nine years of her life, she believed it to be completely justified. So, since she didn’t completely trust the individual that was her partner, she would not say or would elude to. Either way, she was not outright telling him.

“Skills? Well, for starters I cannot track anyone. Secondly, my name is Chikara.” She said, straightening her head though her eyes remained on the older boy. “So since I cannot, er, track these Genin. By the way how many are there? How do you suggest we go about l-o-locating them?”

"Yes, skills." Akio reiterated his question with just a few words as Chikara repeated him by just saying 'skill'. Noticing that she was stalling the blue haired boy grew a bit impatient. It was as if this girl was trying to hold up the mission. First she meant him late and then she would be difficult when Akio asked about her skills. Even as he waited for her to answer him the response didn't give them any progress. The only thing that Chikara told him was her name and that she had no means of tracking the genin they were after. Sighing the chunin walked around the girl for a moment, seemingly observing her as he spoke.

"Well I have one other idea, but you may not like it." Telling the girl nothing more then the truth he walked a couple circles around her. Looking at her clothing, equipment, hairstyle and anything else that would tip of another genin that she was a genin herself. While there were a good deal of such things most of them would not need to be changed or covered up seeing as genin weren't that sharp when studying someone. "Since they have been attacking and stealing from civilians we will have to give them just that kind of target." Akio made one last circle around the girl before stopping back in front of her.

Perhaps this idea would work out quite nicely. The fact he was sent a young genin and a girl for that matter it would just make the mission that much easier in terms of finding the group. "You will be the one disguising yourself as a civilian. Seeing as you are rather young and innocent looking girl it will make this all that much easier. Make sure to cover up any shuriken or kunai pouches you have and any other sort of weaponry. If you have to leave the items her at the tree. Hopefully you taking a simple stroll after getting prepared will lore out the genin. As for how many there are I was told we are tracking down just two, but that was not a guarantee."

Having told the genin what she was to do the chunin hoped she would act on his orders right away. After all the both of them had wasted enough time talking and the sun was beginning to move toward the horizon, causing the village along with the forest to be enveloped by shade. While Akio didn't mind perhaps this was a good thing for the genin and him alike. I mean you would think a group of mischievous genin to become more active at night. Allowing the shadows to mask at least some of their activities, making it all the more easy for them to attack unsuspecting travelers. However the only thing the darkness would do tonight is make the mission even easier. Honestly at this point Akio figured this would be much easier then he thought. The only hard part they had left to deal with was fighting the genin. Which shouldn't be to hard seeing as the girl and him were both acceptation shinobi for their rank.

Dealing with Troublemakers [Mission, Private] (Chikara) Chikar10

Enter, Chikara Shurajo

Chikara eyed the Chunin warily, though the smile did not leave her face, one could see that with the boy circling around her as if she were his prey, she was growing rather uncomfortable within his presence. Honestly, who does that? One shouldn’t circle around a child unless their goal in life was to be seen as a pedophile by the community or had some strange notion in their head that they were toying with their prey, they believing themselves to be the predator. It was simply creepy, and if one were to pass by, they would either drag the pint-sized Genin away from the seemingly mentally disturbed Chunin, or walked away themselves mentally disturbed. Plus, she found the boy walking in circles to be annoying, and had every intention to tell him to hold still before she was forced to restrain him, but he was talking and she didn’t want to interrupt. Add in the fact that they had been talking for far too long, and one could see why the Genin didn’t want to drag things out by pointing out how creepy the boy seemed.

Besides, there were more pressing matters to intend to, one that involved her wellbeing, though she wished it didn’t. She had known upon the boy stating the troublesome Genin had a habit of attacking civilians that she would somehow be dragged into some crazy plot. And she had been correct, the Chunin had in fact decided that using this simple piece of information and thus deploying it, would draw out the troublemakers. Who couldn’t resist robbing a red haired, red eyed, non-threatening looking, little girl? May she add that she didn’t look the least bit like how one would imagine a Shurajo nor did she look like she could harm a fly, and the troublesome Genin had basically won the lottery. She didn’t like the plan, and rightfully so. She, not he, was being placed into harms way, albeit she could easily drag herself out of it. She, not he, would be playing the part of a naive civilian girl, which she was not nor had she ever really been a normal civilian, though acting the part shouldn’t be hard to accomplish. And lastly, if anything were to go wrong, she, not he, would be in the thick of things. To be frank, she wouldn’t had been surprised if the Chunin hightailed it out of the situation if things got messy, her sensei had done it and he was a Jounin.

Chikara wanted to object this decision, instead presenting a more sensible plan that had them simply waiting near the roads, wait for a stupid civilian to go by and thus be attacked by the Genin before swooping in to take care of business. That sounded much better to this Genin, but the chances of that idea being green lighted was low and the Chunin was her superior so whatever he says goes. She mentally cursed her situation, sighing deeply as she ran her fingers through her hair. “Fine. It sounds like a plan. When do we start?”

Noticing the look in the girls eyes Akio knew the general idea she had. The genin seemed to be a bit concerned about the idea. Perhaps she was a bit worried that she would be out in the field and not him. While he wasn't sure he had guessed exactly right. Now standing in front of the girl he heard her ask about when they would act on his plan. "We will start right away. Make yourself decent while I make my way up the trees. I'll be following you from a distance." Not leaving the girl with a chance to disagree or ask anymore questions Akio rushed toward the tree he had been in earlier, running up it quickly before jumping and catching himself on a branch. Swinging himself up on to the top of the tree limb.

Once in the branches of the tree Akio locked his eyes on the genin he was assigned with, keeping a close watch on the girl as he planned his route through the nearby trees. If anything would happen the chunin would be ready to deal with it as fit. Most likely the blue haired boy would watch the situation closely and judge if he would need to help or if the genin would be able to handle it. After all while she was his responsibility for the time being he was more focused on the mission then protecting her. However if it did go south Akio knew which one would be more important, protecting the girl. Although from the information he had received Akio figured the genin was skilled enough to handle almost anything an average genin could dish out.

Adjusting his scroll one more, this time more to occupy himself then to fix it, Akio waited for the Chikara to get ready. Growing a bit impatient he gave a soft sigh before cutting himself off with a yawn. He hadn't got much sleep since his promotion cause of the sheer excitement and he would much rather be at home then dealing with some genin that thought they could gain something from attacking helpless civilians. While he wanted to take a nice nap now that he mind was treading on the matter Akio knew that this mission would actually be recognized by the village rather then just getting a pat on the shoulder like the lower ranked missions.

She should had felt offended by that comment. Make herself look decent, like she had arrived dirty and dressed in soiled clothing. But she didn’t, nor did she feel the need to retort for there really would had been a waste of time. And they had wasted plenty of that. It wasn’t like she could had anyhow, the boy vanishing into the trees upon finishing. She sighed deeply, doing little to change her appearance for that really didn’t need any changing. You see, Chikara’s attire was not something that made people jump to the conclusion that she was a Shinobi. To be frank, most believed her to a civilian child or an individual from the academy, much to her annoyance.

Yet she couldn’t really fault on anyone for making that assumption. She was very small, her long hair only emphasizing her small structure. She smiled a lot, which would have some people assuming that she hadn’t a care in the world, and was possibly naïve to the dangers outside the village walls. Albeit, that’s when that saying ‘don’t just a book by its cover’ comes into play, yet she shall not delve deeper into why such assumption were wrong for by doing so, she risked getting lost in her jumbled up thoughts. Thus, she quickly checked herself for any items that she didn’t want present during this mission, which was none since she didn’t carry weapons and thus had no need for a weapon pouch.

And deeming that there was no reason to change anything about her appearance, she confirmed that she was ready to proceed. Throwing her hood over head, she began to skip down the dirt road, focusing on nothing as she hummed a merry tune to herself. It would not due to seem cautious, for she was a child and children usually threw caution to the wind. Also, children were not observant, or at least most were not. And though it took a good deal of effort to not analyze her surroundings, she did so anyways for a certain someone was there to drag her out of any mess that sprang her way.

Crouched down among the tree branches Akio simply watched Chikara for awhile before mobilizing. The chunin allowed the genin to walk a good distance in front of him. She would be about twenty meters or so ahead of him. While it would make it hard for him to come to her aid at a moments notice it would make it less likely for any of the other genin to spot him if they were to show themselves. Following the girl through the trees he sighed as she hummed and skipped along. While her acting was on point with what the boy wanted it didn't seem to give him the results he was hoping for.

The two seemed to be aimlessly wondering through the land as the sun disappeared along the horizon, allowing the shadows to dance along the ground before clouding the area. The mission seemed to be hopeless as the two continued to just roam along the path growing pretty far from the village. Seeing no point in continuing the blue haired boy was ready to call it a day. Jumping a few trees closer to the girl he was about to hop down when he heard an unfamiliar voice come from below him. While he expected it to be the girl he quickly realized it was a boy's voice. "Where you think you're going?" The voice asked in a snide tone as the two shinobi seemed to appear out of nowhere. Steeping closer to the crimson haired genin one had a katana in his hand while the other one had two scrolls on his back.

Akio remained silent in the tree as he moved himself to a position where branches would cover most of his body and he wouldn't be noticed unless one were to focus upon the trees. Simply watching the chunin didn't want to jump the gun just yet. Perhaps the genin had more among them or had traps, he couldn't be to sure and would not move until he was content. The two genin held their ground as they stared at Chikara. "What's a little girl doing so far from the village?" The one with the katana asked in a menacing tone as stepped a bit closer. "Get on with it we don't have much time." He told the one who seemed to be calling all the shots.

Rolling his eyes Akio began to think this mission would be just as easy as the rest. After all the genin seemed to be all talk for the time being. Slowly making his way closer to Chikara Akio got ready to leap from the tree limb if anything were to go south. However for now he would merely watch as the genin continued to not become violent. "Here is the deal shorty hand over anything you got and we might just let you leave with a few bruises." Yawning softly Akio was beginning to loose interested in the whole situation and got ready to leave his perch on the tree any moment.

Dealing with Troublemakers [Mission, Private] (Chikara) Chikar10

Enter, Chikara Shurajo

Chikara had been getting very bored very quickly, hunting for the likes of Genin hadn’t been as exciting nor as fun as she had been led to believe. She made note that if she were to ever climb the ranks, she would do her utmost best to avoid going on, what seemed to be, wild goose chase designed to amuse the Mizukage. Albeit, she couldn’t honestly believe that this was simply to amuse the Mizukage, the individual being quite a busy person and thus had no time for games or throwing other into pointless situations. Thusly so, she believed that sooner or later she would come across the Genin who had been terrorizing the residents of Kirigakure. She quite frankly hoped it was sooner, for the duo had been searching for quite sometime, the sun having left its position within the sky to be replaced by the likes of the moon.

She was beginning to get a bit ticked off with the situation as time went by with no rogue Genin in sight, she would had turned around and headed home to retry this endeavor in the morning. But that didn’t seem like a very good plan, especially if this mission could be resolved tonight. She didn’t want to disappoint the likes of the Ninth Mizukage, for she liked him and wanted to please him. So she continued onwards, having gone from skipping to walking, her humming having grown quieter compared to when they first started out. Chikara was honestly running out of stuff to hum, and as she finished whatever song she had hummed, she searched her mind for one she had not yet done. Which was proving difficult, but that was of no matter for a voice snapped her out of her thoughts.

She stopped walking, halting her movements as her eyes landed upon the one who had spoken, eyes flickering over to his companion for a brief moment before settling on him once again. She looked a bit startled, though she made a show of sighing in relief. She flashed an annoyed look at the Genin, though the emotion had flickered so quickly upon her face that one would not have noticed. A smile was placed upon her face, “I’m going to welcome my papa home.” She proclaimed, placing her hands onto her hips as the words left her mouth. She seemed blissfully unaware of the threat that loomed so close to her nor of any news that had warned villagers to be vigilant and to not go out alone, a curse brought upon by her well acted out naivete.

Though Chikara was acting the part of a child who had been raised by normal individuals, she had already taken note of several traits the Genin had. By looking at the items they had on them, she was able to deduce that the one with the katana had some background in Kenjutsu whilst his partner was either a puppeteer or somebody who dabbled in Fuinjutsu. It were traits she took into consideration, knowing that the information would become important soon.

She jumped, taking a step back as the boy demanded her to hand over what she had on her. Something that would had quickly been answered with her fist in their face, but she was on a mission and she was playing the part of a civilian. Fear crossed her face, as she began to stutter something incoherent. “That isn’t funny,” she managed to get out, taking another step back before deciding that now she should stand her ground. The fear was replaced by something else that she wouldn’t be able to identify. “Who do you think you are, threatening me with violence?” She snapped, hands on hips as she leaned forward. “I have no business with you, and I must go meet up with my papa. So if you wouldn’t mind, step aside.”

Akio continued watching as Chikara spoke with the other genin. The two boys seemed to be growing impatient as they listened to the girl. "I tried to do this the easy way. However I guess your papa can see you when he finds your body face down on the path." With his words uttered and a wicked grin stretched across his lips the genin swung his sword toward Chikara. Honestly this surprised Akio since he wasn't ready for the two young shinobi to get violent so quick.

Bolting out of the tree the chunin stopped in front of the boy sending a strong kick toward the boy's stomach. While he got their before the genin moved out of the way he wasn't able to stop his swing of the sword, meaning that Chikara would have to block or at least dodge before his kick was delivered. Catching the boy off guard he sent him a few feet back. Standing up the foreign genin growled as he got back to his feet. "You're going to regret ever coming her." The genin muttered as he laid on the ground. Standing back up the katana wielding boy took a kenjutsu stance as the other quickly pulled his scroll of his back, summoning two puppets from the single scroll. The first one was a faceless wooden type of mannequin looking puppet while the other one seemed to be more advance. The second one had pieces of metal installed as well as a shield and sword as it appeared to be a knight.

Humming softly Akio glanced back at Chikara for a moment before focusing back at the puppet user. Now there were not only two threats, but three at the moment and a fourth if one of the puppets were to break. The only good thing that came from the puppets being summoned was that the genin had both of his hands occupied by chakra strings. "Two puppets...now that was something I didn't even expect." Dragging his feet back to each other Akio took a fighting stance with his hands tucked tightly to his body. The chunin would have his hands full with two puppets to fight. Hopefully the crimson haired genin with him could at least fend off the kenjutsu user though, if not he would have to fight off two sword wielding enemies and all he had to bring to the table was taijutsu.

Akio took his time as he stared down the puppets. He realized that he was not in the position to call the shots for the time being, he would be much better if he just waited for them to come to him. If he was to come at the puppet user he would just leave himself open to get counterattacked from the second puppet or perhaps even the user himself. "Take care of the other one I'll handle the puppeteer." Akio gave Chikara an order, not taking his eyes from  the three other threats that were seperate from the kenjutsu user. Hopefully splitting up the two genin would give him and Chikara a chance to overwhelm them.

Impulsive. Repulsive. Tried to kill. Not worth going berserk. Don’t go berserk. Not with him around. Calm down. Impulsive is not a threat. Just quick on the trigger. Those thoughts raced through the mind of Chikara as she calmed herself down. She had narrowly escaped being cleaved in two, having back-pedaled her way out of harms way upon seeing the movement of the katana wielding Genin, she had known to get out of his radius. Sure, there was a certain someone that was suppose to drop down from his hiding place if she got herself into a mess, but something said that he would be far to late to help her. And her assumption had been correct, for upon her moving, he came down, kicking the katana wielding Genin away. If she had stayed, she would had definitely been on the ground bleeding profusely.

Upon escaping her dance with death, she had immediately proceeded to calm herself down. For the Chikara who had been buried within the darkest corners of her mind had attempted to rear its ugly head once more. Her life had been threaten and perhaps allowing her dark personality bloom wouldn’t be a bad idea, but than again, she would end up murdering the Genin and she already had too much blood on her hands. She didn’t want anymore, and thus convinced herself that the Genin was impulsive and a minor threat which, thankfully, worked.

She sighed deeply, eyes narrowing on the katana wielding Genin, watching as he readied himself for a fight. The scroll wielding Genin had decided that revealing what he had within said scrolls was now a good idea. And boy, hadn’t her assumption been wrong, albeit chances of it being anything else other than a puppet was low. Her eyes flickered  between the two individuals, quite intrigued and very much amused by the display. She briefly glanced at the Chunin, eyes not lingering for long for there were threats in front of them. She immediately categorized them, deeming the kenjutsu Genin a minor threat whilst his companion had been deemed a little over a minor threat but not enough to warrant anything higher.

A smile graced her face, the Chunin having ordered her to take care of the kenjutsu Genin. She took a step forward, finding no need to drop into a battle readied stance for such a thing had never been needed and thus learned. Instead, she stayed relax as she casually shorten the distance between herself and the Genin she was appointed to fight, eyes on him though her full attention wasn’t on him. There was still another person on the field, and she would have to take extra care in paying attention. She stopped her advances upon reaching ten feet of the boy.

“You ready?” Chikara asked, cocking her head to the side. She didn’t get an answer for the boy attacked. Swinging his sword, whilst Chikara responded with back-pedaling, bent on removing herself and the boy from the sight of the Chunin and the other Genin. Which would make the fight much easier to focus on.

Taking one last glance at Chikara the blue haired chunin was glad to see she was not injured. After all it made his job a lot easier. Seeing as she could still fight and he would hopefully not have to protect her. While on the other hand it wouldn't look bad on his report when the mission was complete. However this was of little concern in the boy's mind as he quickly pushed all thought out of his mind and focused back on the puppet user.

The genin didn't give Akio much time at all, launching both of the puppets at him at once. Not hesitating the Kaguya dodged the forward thrust of the knight's sword by side stepping then he sent an upward kick into the mannequin's stomach. This didn't prove to do much more then stave off an attack seeing as the puppets quickly retaliated with another attack. The three figures were little more then blurs of brown wood, blue hair and grey clothing as the chunin maintained his defense. Akio prioritized the mannequin since it seemed to be the one that would break much easier. Although this didn't seem to be to case seeing as the wooden figure matched the chunin blow for blow. Every strike they threw at each other was blocked or parried by another.

Going one for several minutes the chunin seemed to match the prowess of both mannequins, their numbers being the only thing that kept him from advancing. Letting lose a low growl Akio continued to fight tooth and nail with the wooden puppets. All the while the genin pulling the strings as he grinned widely. Several moments passed until Akio began to lag behind. This was evident from the several small cuts that marked his arms and sides as the knight continued to slash and stab at him. Working through the pain Akio was panting heavily as he began to push himself a bit harder.

Within a few minutes of the boy pushing himself his superior strength and speed began to show. The genin looked to be a bit worried now as his fingers darted around. While still fighting the mannequin was lagging behind, taking a few good blows and blocking less and less of them. Finally as they both met each other back to back and fist to fist the splintering of wood echoed through the air as they both spun and hit the back of each other's fist together. The back of Akio's right fist began to beat read as the rubbing of wood had rubbed the skin raw.

Swallowing hard the genin puppeteer's eyes widen as he was obviously surprised. The sheer power behind both of the strikes mean and the result sent the remnant of the mannequin's right fist flying. Chips off the wood stuck into the moist grown before the genin's expression went back to a smug grin. Quickly recovering from the shock the mannequin backed off from the front lines a bit as the knight took the lead. Dodging most of the sword attack Akio corrected his blind spots as he noticed them. Several small tears and cuts stained the chunin's usual pale skin with a more bold crimson. Grunts flew from Akio's mouth with every fresh cut.

Panting heavily Akio went on full assault, not caring to block any of the attacks for the edge in his offense. While this was a risky move the multiplying of new wounds restated that message. However it did have it's strong points seeing as Akio began to overwhelm the knight, crushing the wooden fingers and discarding them along with the sword that they held in place. With only a shield left and no weapon that was one puppet that couldn't do much on the offensive side.

Shifting back to the mannequin Akio was beginning to feel the burden of his wounds and the fatigue of battle. Even with only one hand the faceless wooden puppet seemed to still be able to contest with a weakened Akio. The two butted heads once more as they seemed to be evenly matched. Catching the active arm that still had a fist Akio grinned thinking he had won as he struck the gut off the puppet several times. Then to his surprise a few pull of the genin's chakra strings the mannequin raised it's dismembered arm and pointed it's wrist at him. Glancing over at the seemingly useless arm Akio was a bit confused before realizing six small holes on the arm. This puppet was actually modified with an arsenal, something unsuspected of a puppet used by a genin.

In a split second a soft click was heard as a much loud whistling sound cut through the air. Six long senbon shot from the holes in the puppets arms, striking the unsuspecting chunin in the left shoulder. Even though senbon were not particularly deadly in small numbers the young Kaguya knew how much of a threat he was in at the moment. Disengaging the wooden tool Akio quickly crossed his arms as he covered up his vitals from the puppets attack. Several more senbon dug into the male's arms as he covered up.

Hearing the few clicks that followed the end of the assault the chunin was glad to know the puppet's ammunition surplus was exhausted. Panting and wincing in pain Akio's anger took over his body. His face grew a dark red as a low growl resonated from his throat. His arms and legs shaking as he slowly was drained off control. Snarling and scrunching up his nose the Kaguya fought his urge to use his bloodline. After all if he were to let his instincts took over it would be a messy sight to see indeed. Honestly Akio never knew what he would do when he used the more advanced jutsu of his clan. The possibility of slaughtering the genin around him, including his own comrade was something he couldn't risk right now. Finally calming himself down the chunin's arms fell to his side as adrenaline masked his pain. Reading himself the best he could the boy waited for the next move the puppeteer would make.

She hadn’t a clue how far she had drawn the katana wielding Genin from his partner as well as her own, having only been concerned with getting a relatively safe distance from that clash so that hers may begin. An action taken not only so that she didn’t have to split her attention from the puppet wielding Genin and her own opponent, but to also eliminate any chances that the two correlate an attack against herself and the Chunin. She hadn’t any much needed information on the two individuals, having only what she had gathered before the fight had begun to work with. Thus to prevent any surprises, since these two individuals may had proven a bigger threat together, she had led the katana wielding Genin away.

It was apparently a decision the katana wielding Genin had deemed stupid, having voiced so and even going as far as to taunt her. He really hadn’t a clue that he was not dealing with a typical ten-year-old. No, she was Chikara Shurajo otherwise known as Subject 0032 of Project Gremlin. She was raised to be Kiri’s ruthless soldier, and this boy would see that side of her. It was perhaps another reason she had left the scene, not liking the fact that she went completely berserk during times of rage as well as when her life is threaten. And this boy had threaten her life on more than one occasion, she only having contained herself for she was unwilling to allow the Chunin to witness her savagery.

She wasn’t willing anyone to witness that unsavory side of her personality, but this boy would witness it today. She had absolutely no problem with showing this boy for by the end, he would be dead. Another victim on her list, for controlling her urge to murder the threat to her life or the one who had angered her greatly, far outweighed any rationality she may have retained. The boy continued his onslaught of attacks, taking advantage of the fact that no one with an ounce of common sense goes near somebody with a weapon in hand. Not without a plan of action that included how to avoid said weapon. Yet if he thought that she couldn’t figure out how to get to him without getting hit, he was seriously underestimating her.

A smile crossed her face, a chuckle escaped pass her lips, as she allowed herself to shift into berserk mode. Without so much of a warning, Chikara suddenly dropped to the ground as the boy went for another sideswipe, narrowly avoiding the blade, but in the position she wanted. Not stopping for even a heartbeat, she quickly swung her left leg in a circular motion, kicking the boy’s feet from underneath him. He fell with a loud thud, and the pint-sized Genin quickly jumped back to her feet, intending to do away with the katana wielding Genin quickly so that she may find her way back to the Chunin. Albeit it seemed the boy wasn’t getting with the program, he rolling and springing to his feet, dodging a ferocious punch intended for his face, courtesy of a Shurajo.

Chikara’s eyes narrowed as they snapped to he who should had stayed still as he swung his sword, forcing her to move albeit she had earned a small cut from the tip of his sword. Her eyes remained on the boy, ignoring the trickle of blood that had come forth from the wound she had sustained, which was nothing serious nor something worth her worrying about. He had only managed to nick her, something that had only proven to anger her further, but that was of no matter. It would be a comforting thought for the boy before she murdered him, he could tell all those he met in the afterlife on how he had managed to cut a ten-year-old. Which wasn’t very impressive when one thought about it, but that really didn’t matter.

What did matter was taking down this Genin who had suddenly decided that just because his opponent was small, didn’t mean she couldn’t pack a punch. His eyes having been open when he had narrowly escaped the punch she had been intent on landing. Chikara watched him closely as he tossed the blade from one hand to the next, she making a mental note to break his left arm so that he couldn’t wield said blade. Usually this would be her time to strike, but doing so when your opponent had a sharp pointy object in hand didn’t seem like the best idea. At least, not the best idea that was currently on the table.

Snapping back to her gears, she watched intently as the boy reassumed his assaults on her, the only change being that he was serious unlike last time. Which was terrible for him since Chikara had realized something about the boy’s attack pattern. It never changes. He lunges with stabbing motions first, something easy to avoid, only throwing three or four of those at any given time before along to sideswipes. When he feels that he has you cornered, than he delivers a downward strike that will cause serious harm to anyone who doesn’t move out of the way.

With his predictable attack pattern figured out, Chikara again smiled as she sidestepped one of the sword sideswipes. Without much hesitation, she lunged forward before he could continue on with the next one, grabbing his sword swinging arm. She turned so that her back was to his face, burying her elbow into his gut before throwing the poor boy a couple feet in front of her as if he were a ragdoll. Surprisingly enough, the boy managed to keep a grip upon his sword, though that blow to the gut would take a couple seconds to recover from. Approaching him, she took the liberty of stomping upon the arm which the sword hand was attached to, effectively breaking bone.

The howl of pain that came from the boy made Chikara a bit giddy, she giggling uncontrollably as she proceeded to kick the sword from the Genin’s reach as he writhed around in pain. Using the arm that hadn’t been broken to cradle the one that had, though what this accomplished was beyond the pint-sized Shurajo. She watched him move about for a moment, quite amused, but that quickly faded. She straddled the boy, sitting upon his stomach as she smile cruelly at the boy.

“You know, now would be the time to beg for your life,” Chikara said, tilting her head to the side. All she got in return was a glare, something that made her chuckle for she hadn’t quite expected that. Albeit she should had, but no matter. “That’s mean, to glare at someone who is offering to spare your life.”

“You are-“

“It’s not like I was really going to spare your life anyways,” she interrupted, an evil glint within her eyes as she stared at the Genin. “I just wanted to hear you beg for it.” And without further prompting, Chikara Shurajo begun delivering blow after blow to the face of the Genin. She was slowly killing the boy, ultimately doing something she had promised herself that she would no longer do anymore. Take the life of another. But than again, berserk Chikara couldn’t control the urge to bash in the boy’s skull.

As the puppeteer had exhausted his ammunition and had not made a move Akio figure it was his best chance to strike. Running toward the puppet Akio let his arms hand limp, seeing as any strikes with them would do more harm then good to the chunin. Delivering an up kick to the mannequin's head the puppet went flying backward. Then as he side stepped Akio sent a sharp kick down at the center of the puppet. Digging a sharp heel kick into the wooden body, creating a large hole in the center of the puppet as several cracks crawled their way across the wooden figure.

Not having much else to fight with the puppeteer paniced. Leaving the broken mess that was left of both puppets as he scurried away, tripping a few times. Ignoring the genin Akio slowly walked over to Chikara. As he drew near he watched the genin in action. First witnessing the young girl decoding the motions of her opponent. While their was a pattern it wasn't very easy to notice without focusing. Surprised to see the girl figure it out the chunin simply watch.

Sure the genin currently under his command was in danger, but nothing Akio didn't think she couldn't handle. After all she wouldn't have been assigned to the mission if she wasn't seen fit to handle herself without any help. Then without warning Akio got yet another surprise this time however it was something he wouldn't have expected so soon. Chikara sidestepped the strike the boy dealt before delivering a blow of her own. Seeing the genin being thrown to the ground Akio knew anyone wouldn't stop there. Although the boy was incapacitated he was still a threat for the time being.

Obviously the female genin had the same thought seeing as she stomped on the boy's arm. The sound of bone breaking echoed through the area as the chunin watched. While they were not ordered to kill the genin a little punishment while not necessary was something Akio would allow for the moment. Hearing Chikara giggling so wildly and then advising the boy begged for mercy Akio was shocked although his eyes remained cold and unemotional, the only sine of his emotion was a soft smirk and a raised brow.

Giving a weak chuckle the Kaguya's arms remained limp as hundred of thousand needles stuck out of his arms. While he could still move them they were both tingly and in a huge amount of pain. However the pain was beginning to numb as he lost feeling in the damaged limbs, a sign that Akio was losing a lot of blood or perhaps something even worse. Simply watching as the young girl assault the other genin Akio let her continue for a few more blows before saying anything. "Chikara...that's enough." He forced out in a weak tone although his pain was evident in his words seeing as he had a bit of a delay in his sentence. "That's enough!" This time the chunin growled as he yelled the words, signalling the genin to stop her attack.

Chikara could have killed the boy. It would end the particular problem they had been causing for the residents and visitors of Kiri alike great pain and displeasure. It would be so simple to end his life right now, and she was doing that very thing right now. The dozen or so blows to the head he would be suffering from at the moment were of no joke, for despite being small she could pack as much punch as a full grown adult. This particular fact did not bode well for her victim, though how he was taking it was unknown to herself. Yet she did know that he had shifted from an arrogant being who was quite loud and quite ready to steal from her, to a sniveling mess below her.

She felt a rush seeing the boy utterly defenseless against her relentless onslaught of attacks, finding herself giggling madly as she continued to deliver blow after blow to his face. She hadn’t the slightest clue on how much time had gone by since she had started her assault, but it couldn’t had been any longer than a minute or two, but she found that the whimpers of the boy had stopped. His face bloodied and unrecognizable to even the best medic, Chikara could safely say that she had ended his reign of terror, though she had plans of ending his terror for good. But she wouldn’t be able to take the life of another on this particular day, even if her victim was knocking on death doors.

Chikara had her fist poised to deliver another nail into the boy’s coffin, though before she could proceed to do so a voice stopped her. A command had been uttered by the likes of one she could only assume to be her partner on this mission. It had come weakly, so she paid it no heed and punched the boy once again. Yet when Akio spoke once again, his voice held more authority to it, she stopping her fist from connecting with her victim’s face once again. Her fist was still poised to hit the boy once again, her head turning slightly so that she may face the boy considered her superior.

A craze look was in her eyes as she examined Akio, smiling at him maliciously though she didn’t do anything. Yet, as she continued to stare at the boy, the craze look in her eye slowly dissipated, one dare say they were returning to the softness that they usually exude. Her pupils grew large as her gaze shifted to her partner’s injured arm. She cocked her head to the side, gaze shifting to that of the boy who laid underneath her small frame, she looking particularly at his bloodied face. Those same eyes than turn to her blood covered fist, and she immediately connected the dots as her berserk mindset receded back to whence it came.

She scrambled off the barely breathing boy, panting as she did so, eyes snapping between the boy and Akio. Chikara seemed almost frighten of what she had done, though what she was looking for wasn’t quite clear. Soon though, her eyes settled on her victim, her body beginning to shake violently. She hugged herself as she shook her head, muttering a simple ‘no’ over and over again. She couldn’t believe she had just done that. She had promised to never allow her berserk state to ever overtake her, yet she had allowed it and it had ended with a boy knocking on death doors. And he was sure to die without the much needed medical attention.

She stood up, arms dropping to her side and head bowed down as she made her way to Akio. The simple thought that there was much more that needed to be done being the only reason she didn’t immediately break down. She only stopped walking when she reached the side of Akio, eyes flickering to his arm than back to what laid ahead. “We should get that checked out before it gets infected.”

While Akio was rather weak at this point and Chikara was under control the chunin knew he couldn't call off the mission yet. The puppeteer was still in action and would most likely bring more genin. If such a thing were to happen the two would be responsible for protecting the village and it's people from any danger they might pose. Swallowing hard the Kaguya slowly raised his now spiked right arm, hiding the pain the best he could. Placing his palm on the girls shoulder he exhaled softly. "You...did good." A soft grunt broke up the sentence, but it was still audible.

Panting heavily the young boy shook his head slowly as she mentioned his wounds. "I'll...I'll be fine. We aren't finished here. The other genin...could be back with more of his friends...any moment. We must be ready...if that should happen." Grunting as he lowered his arm the chunin was clearly in pain. Taking a step back and leaning against one of the many near by trees Akio swallowed once more.

As the blue haired boy felt light headed his wounds began to tingle. Realizing just how much trouble he was in the chunin quickly starting removing all the senbon he could. Only getting a few out as he began to fade out of reality. Now breathing frantically the Kaguya swallowed one last time. "Chikara...listen to me. Make..." The boy began to nod off as he spoke. "Make sure the village is safe." Forcing the rest of his words out the boy quickly slumped over and slid down the trunk of the tree.

While he didn't have any fatal wounds an unknown agent had entered his body through the senbon attack. While it was slow acting it was rather strong although the man-made formula was not fatal he would be unable to carry out the rest of the mission and would be out of action for a good while. Sound asleep the chunin slowly fell to his side as his body was limp. Landing on the soft, moist grass with a thud the boy was unresponsive.

After a few more moments a chuckle could be heard as three genin appeared down the trail. One of them were the familiar puppeteer while the other two were fresh faces. One was an oddly dressed female of average height. Her clothing was very colorful and her hair was a bright green color. Not having any see able equipment besides a kunai pouch the other was quiet the opposite. The boy was quite short standing no more then five feet with a Demon Wind Shrunken on his back. Along with a kunai pouch on each side of his hip and a large pouch on his back just above his waist.

The puppeteer seemed to only be an escort however, disappearing into the woods quickly as the two slowly walked toward both the Kiri shinobi. "Looks like someone had a field day with our teammate." The boy said as he and the girl both held wide grins, glancing over to Chikara's latest victim. "Looks like the girl's sensei is sleeping on the job. Looks a bit young to be a superior of anything though. Perhaps that's why he got caught by the senbon attack. Looks like Shins's formula actually worked." The girl added on her thoughts as they stopped, only five meters from Chikara.

Chikara eyes traveled to the arm of her teammate, said arm having become a pin cushion since she had last seen him which had only been a couple minutes ago. The wounds sustained from the small, sharply made pieces of steel, otherwise known as a senbon or needle, wouldn’t cause much worry for they were easily removable. And so long as they hadn’t punctured anything vital, which she doubt they did, Akio would only be feeling slight pain for the next couple days after the needles were extracted from his skin. So, she didn’t worry all too much for if she had she would had insisted that Akio go back to the village so that he may be treated for his injuries instead of accepting his ‘I’ll be fine’ words.

She nodded her head, smiling happily at the Chunin as he stated the possibility of more Genin showing up on the scene, led by whomever embedded so many senbons into Akio. It wasn’t a thought she particularly wanted to visit since she knew that the more that showed up, the more difficult this particular mission would get. And she didn’t know how things would go, for she didn’t know the amount of Genin the puppeteer was returning with, which proved to annoy her. A sigh escaped pass her lips as her mind reeled with various details, though the frantic movements of her teammate snapped her out of her reveries.

Eyes wide as she watched him pull senbon after senbon out from his skin with no regards to how he was taking them out, she wondered what had caused the panic within Akio. They were, to her untrained mind, just needles stuck in his skin for the moment, nothing to panic about, unless… She perked up, nothing her teammates sudden erratic breaths, which made her quite concern for him. She moved to assist him, to somehow stop whatever had done this to her teammate, but she halted as words spilled from Akio’s mouth.  She hadn’t the time to reply, to ask questions, or to get a bearing on her situation. One moment her teammate had been up and quite ready to take down the next wave of Genin, the next he was slumped over with his back against a tree.

Her concern rose than, eyes watching as Akio slowly fell onto his side, time seemingly having slowed down. Pupils shrinking in fear for her teammate, Chikara brought herself down to her knees, placing hands upon Akio’s shoulders as she shook him gently. “Akio…” she said, as she continued to shake his shoulder, the force of which increased. “Wake up. You have to wake up, Akio. Onii-sama!” she uttered, now frantically shaking his shoulder though he still did not stir. She was probably like this for a couple minutes, having stopped shaking the shoulder of Akio, instead crying over his still body. She was begging for him to wake up, to fight through whatever had entered his system, and to assist her throughout the rest of the mission. Yet such pleas would fall on deaf ears.

Chikara would had stayed there longer hadn’t she been startled by a chuckle, head whipping to locate the source. Much to her dismay, the chuckle had come from the friends of the puppeteer and the dying swordsman, Akio having been quite right about the puppeteer bringing back friends. Two friends to be exact, and they were certainly approaching at a fast pace. She would had scooted back until she was up against the tree, staring at the Genin in fear at the prospect of having to fight them alone, but she hadn’t. Instead she stared fiercely at the approaching Genin, her mind reeling with courses of actions she needed to take so that Akio and herself could return home in one piece.

She took note of any and everything on their persons, noting the puppeteer leaving but not believing that he would stand idly by whilst his friends danced with her. Unless, the puppeteer believed that two Genin would be enough to handle a ten-year-old child. Chikara continued to watch the Genin approach her, barely taking note of the boy’s comment about the thrashing she had brought upon the dying Genin. Yet what she did note was the total lack of concern for said teammate, instead they looked rather gleeful. If she hadn’t been amongst people like these individuals, their grins and total lack of concern would had scare her, but she had accustomed herself to such individuals a couple years ago, the action now unnerving her instead of scaring her out of her mind.

They were now close, too close for comfort and Chikara body tensed every so slightly as her eyes darted between the two Genin. She took her eyes off the Genin for a moment, eyes sweeping over what laid upon the battlefield, looking for anything that she could use. Akio, sadly, hadn’t a kunai or shuriken, or any type of weapon on him for that matter, for her to utilize. And the sword that she had so kindly kicked away from the dying Genin, he should be deceased by now but she didn’t want to think about the fact that she just broke a promise to herself, required her to maneuver herself around the two Genin present.

A task she knew would be difficult as well as pointless since even if she got her hands on the sword, she wouldn’t be able to wield it efficiently, it becoming a hinder rather than a help. Her eyes than traveled back to that of the two Genin, once again assessing what they had on them though the chances of her getting her hands on it were quite low. “What do you want?” she finally said, having settled upon a course of action. Chakra slowly built up for the technique that she would utilize, she standing up so that she may not have the disadvantage of sitting upon the ground. For as soon as this technique was initiated, she would have to move quickly.

And since she had deemed these individuals as threats, she for the first time and a long time decided that holding back her true colors wasn’t best. Alone and forced to face two Genin by herself as well as protect Akio, she would have to allow the chains to come off and return to the psyche of the one established during her earlier years. The psyche of the aggressive and murderous Subject 0032 of Project Gremlin, otherwise referred to as berserk Chikara.

Wake up. You have to wake up, Akio. Onii-sama! The words faintly echoed inside Akio's head. Although he barely heard them Chikara's last comment came at a surprise. After all they were just teammates. Did the girl actually look up to him that much? These were just a few of the quick thoughts that raced through Akio's head while he had just enough strength to think. This didn't last long before he slipped into a comatose like state.

All the while the two genin continuing to advance toward the two Kirigakure Shinobi. The male genin slowly grabbed the large shuriken from his back and readied it for use. As Chikara asked what they wanted the female genin went to reply, but was cut off with a growl as her teammate threw the large shuriken at Chikara, while it wasn't visible there were strings attached to the weapon to control it's path of flight. A slight whistling cut through the air as the piece of metal flew at Chikara, the male genin's voice echoing in the background. "Enough talking!"

If it would hit the young girl the attacker would be ready to direct it in another direction. Either way he would be able to at least hit one of the Kiri shinobi. Even though Akio was unconscious he was not out of the fight. He would still be a target for the two attackers and an easy one at that. However for now the two seemed to be more concerned about fighting Chikara instead, after all they could wait to get Akio. They knew that the poison would keep him down for awhile. Then even if he woke up he would be in no shape to be fighting any kind of opponent.

Since my post was deleted, I have decided to give the basic gist of things instead of rewriting the entire thing. So, Chikara first move was to respond to the Shuriken attack, resulting in her utilizing Earth Shore Return to make a 5m wall in front of herself and Akio. At that moment, the area would be enveloped by her Crimson Mist, the technique she had charged up in her previous post, leaving her with 70 CP. And her opponents, the ability to see only a couple feet in front of them

Knowing that Akio could still be a target despite being unconscious, there being no honor amongst thieves, she set out to hide him. Examining a nearby tree, she had found a hollow hole within it, on the side facing away from the wall she had created. Knowing it to be her only option, and feeling that there being no time to waste, she retrieved the body of Akio before stuffing him into the hollow part of the tree. Rounding it again, and feeling that Akio is safe, she waits for her opponents move.

Uncomfortably stuffed in the nook of the tree Akio couldn't move freely if he wanted to. Although such movements wouldn't be easy to do without the poison that was currently coursing through his veins. Akio was still completely unconscious as the red mist fell on the battlefield. While it wasn't fatal, at least not at the moment, the Kiri chunin began to wheeze as he breathed. Although much louder noises would disturb Akio's respiratory state. As the enormous demon shuriken cut through the wind it made loud whistling sounds. Right before the mist clouded his view the enemy genin noticed the wall. Pulling the chakra wires on the metal taut, causing the weaponry to curve in an attempted to swing around the thick wall of earth that was used to counter the attack. However with the mist falling fast the genin didn't have a good enough sense of surrounding to finish the move. The shuriken would strike the wall and stick right in the stone as the genin disconnected the wires.

The loud clank of metal on rock was followed by two different sources of rough coughs as the genin inhaled the toxic fumes in the air. While the girl recovered quickly the boy would take a few more moments to recover, leaving himself open as his teammate abandoned him, rushing in the general direction of Chikara. Even though the female genin couldn't see Chikara she could hear her. Although the noise was faint the attacker was rather good at location her. Only being off by a foot or two meaning she would see Chikara before passing her up.

Dealing with Troublemakers [Mission, Private] (Chikara) Chikar10

She watched, she waited, she listened for her partially blind opponents to retaliate against her. Chikara knew that her earth wall had fulfilled it’s main purpose, which was to protect Akio and herself from the large shuriken the boy had thrown, as well as buy her sometime to hide her teammate. She had heard the resounding thunk of metal meeting earth, and a satisfied smile crept onto her face. That weapon was out of the way, and she needed worry about it unless the boy was going to waste time attempting to dislodge his weapon from the wall, albeit this assumed that he wasn’t stupid and hadn’t yet succumbed to the effects of the poison that naturally ran through her veins, made airborne thanks to Crimson Death.

Sure, she had also restricted her own field of vision with Crimson Death, she knew from the beginning that such a thing would happen, for the technique was a double edged sword if one didn’t have some degree of specialization in sensory. Yet, she had learned that when one’s eyesight is impaired, the focus should go to the other four senses one had left to utilize, and her focus went into listening for her opponents. With eyes closed for the briefest of moments, she found that her hearing capability improved, though this wasn’t a shock to her. Quickly her eyes snapped open, having heard the sound of footsteps rapidly approaching, and catching a glimpse of the first person who had come to confront her. Chikara knew the female had seen her and would quickly redirect herself, and not knowing where her teammate was, she decided to backpedal a good eight feet whilst raising her hands to perform the boar seal.

Crimson Death was immediately canceled, droplets of blood staining the ground within the 15 meter radius, albeit it would not remain as such. With chakra sacrificed, the blood that had been apart of Crimson Death would form into thin spikes. Her intention for the spikes was to simply impale her opponents. They may not be thick or strong enough to cause anything more than a scratch, yet with constant doses of the poison entering their blood stream every time they were nicked would take a toll upon them. Chikara herself wasn’t worried about getting cut, the only danger she faced was a few scratches caused by five foot spikes, nothing that couldn’t be fixed with a trip to the hospital. Instead of worrying about her safety, her eyes scanned the clear playing field, spikes erupting everywhere, though she had to ensure her opponents were caught in the bloody forest.

She hoped that with this move that the fight would be over, for she needed to get a certain someone to a certain hospital so that he may be treated for his injuries. And she didn’t wish to drag this battle out nor waste anymore time on it.

Rushing into the fray with no worry the female genin smirked as the red mist that was once clouding the battlefield fell to the ground. "I don't know what ninjutsu that is, but you made a bad choice lowering it." Going for a swing the genin was inches from Chikara's face when she was meant with the assault of crimson red needles. Growling with every strike of the needles the shinobi's body was jerked toward each center of the projectiles mark before falling to her knees, her blood now laced with a huge amount of the deadly toxins from the assault. Puking from the heavy dose the genin looked back up at Chikara. "Wh...What are you..." She muttered before quickly collapsing.

Following up his teammates failed attempted at attacking the second foreign genin rushed toward Chikara. Only being hit with a few needles of blood the genin was disoriented, but not out of action at the moment. Hurtling over the fallen girl the boy quickly pulled five shuriken with each hand, throwing them all at Chikara. While he wasn't completely helpless the toxins coursing through his veins caused him to be a bit slower and decently inaccurate, causing all but four of the projectiles to actually fly toward their target.

Even though Akio was unconscious and behind cover he was not safe from Chikara's attack, having two needles graze his cheek. While he was unresponsive to the pain the small cuts left him noticeably weaker. The boys face was almost as white as the clouds  looming above the fight. Since fainting the chunin did not seem to be fairing well. Anyone that would look at him would know that he was knocking on death's door. His face was as pale as ever, his eyes sunk in with backs that held a slight purple hue. All the while his breathing was ragged and breaking at moments. However the wheezing had lightened, but was replaced by heavy breathing with a few shallow gasp that came every once in awhile. At this moment if the enemy were to see them they would most likely not waste their energy to put him down. Akio already seemed as if he would not make it very longer.
