Special characteristics/traits: Every member of the clan has a great sense of respect towards the Alpha, they will almost never try to harm the Alpha and will have the instinct to protect him or her. The pack members' eyes will turn a glowing gold when emotional (Angry, sad, very happy ect) whilst the Alpha's turns blood red.

Bloodline Name: Raikan Henkan
Bloodline Ability: The Raikan Henkan is the Raikan (Lycan) clan's ability to transform into their Lycan form. There are three stages that normal pack members can transform into, and then there is the final and true form of the Lycan, the Alpha form. This can only be achieved by the first one to learn it and there can only be one Alpha at a time. Every member of the clan, no matter their pack, can sense the Alpha when he is within fifty meters of them if he or she allows this. Any member of the clan will have an instinct to protect the Alpha, and will rarely attack him or her. If they do fight with the Alpha, their natural instinct to protect the Alpha will kick in immediately and they will have a harder time fighting him or her. This leads to the clan member struggling to control their body, loosing their ability to transform as long as they want to attack the Alpha. This is due to their instinct telling their body not to do this, so their mind and body struggle with each other and thus they can not fully use their skills. Again, this is only if they fight the Alpha. If they want to become a pack leader then they will not be affected by this. The Alpha is the leader of all of the Lycans, and is highly respected by the members.
Each Lycan has a special blood within their body which has the ability to heal them. The blood is thick and black, they take a long time to bleed out and will most likely heal the wound before they even bleed to death. As the Lycan achieves further stages of the Raikan Henkan, this ability also increases.
Every clan member starts with this stage of the Lycan Transformation, or Raikan Henkan. Upkeep costs do take place with the transformations staying active, though are avoided if you deactivate within the same post as activation.
Raikan henkan reberu1: This stage can be activated through will alone. The cost of activation is C rank. Upkeeps do apply. Their body will be fully transformed into a Lycan. This is the weakest stage of the four. During this stage, the member will gain enhanced senses of smell, hearing and sight. They will be able to smell a mouse up to fifteen meters away, see an ant as if they were looking close up at it with a magnifying glass up to fifteen meters away and hear a pin drop up to fifteen meters away. Raikan Henkan Reberu 2: This stage can be activated through will alone. The cost of activation is B rank. Upkeeps do apply. During this stage the Lycan's senses are enhanced. Their senses are now increased to thirty meters. Their speed is also now increased, they're faster than others within their Taijutsu tier though not as fast as the next tier. Consider it right in the middle. IE. A basic being in the middle of basic and adept, being faster than other basic taijutsu users though not as fast as an adept taijutsu user. Raikan Henkan Reberu 3: This stage can be activated through will alone. The cost of activation is A rank. Upkeeps do apply. The senses are further enhanced, up to fifty meters now. With this stage active, the member not only has his/her speed enhanced like the previous stage, but also their strength. The enhancement is the same as the speed enhancement. This is the top stage for those who are not the Alpha. [1500 Words training as well as 1500 Ryo]
Raikan Henkan Reberu Arufa: This stage can only be activated through will alone. The Lycan Transformation Stage: Alpha is the top and most powerful stage of the Lycan clan, which can only be activated by the Alpha. The activation of this transformation is S rank. If all other transformations are known, then this stage's upkeep is C rank. In order to become the Alpha you'd need to know all three of the previous transformations. This transformation enhances the senses up to 60 meters. Their taijutsu abilities will have already been enhanced through the past transformations, and will just carry on to this transformation. Note*: The Alpha chakra costs on the first three transformations can only be used if you HAVE the Alpha transformation, meaning if you are already the Alpha.
Note**: They can use their enhanced senses when not transformed, though only one at a time and it is only half the range than when transformed.

The following is the system for the Lycan's healing abilities depending on their skill with the Raikan Henkan. This healing is only active when in the Raikan Henkan state:

Others can drink your blood and it will stay in their system for ten of their posts, healing them during that time. Though this can be very addictive when used too much.
The clan's blood has a very bad reaction to steel. Any weapon or item coming into contact with their blood will cause that general area to start boiling which will lead to 2nd degree burns on the area the blood is. If someone drank Lycan blood for 15 or more times, they will become consumed by the craving for Lycan blood and will essentially go crazy trying to find more, which could lead to them killing Lycans just to drink more blood, making them a target. Their sense of smell can be disrupted by other very strong smells, if there is too much noise then the Lycan can also not focus on a certain sound that they were trying to listen to in the first place.
Due to the blood leaving the body's system quickly when not in a Lycan (15 posts) Implanting the blood of a Lycan will only give you healing properties for those 15 posts as stated previously. Using parts of their body will also prove to be bad for the implantee. The part will start to regenerate and take over their body, they will then be unable to have control over their body. That body will then be under the control of the person who it was implanted into. The time it takes for the body to be taken over depends on the skill of the Lycan the part belonged to in the beginning (Higher transformation means faster regeneration). IE. An Alpha would regenerate a limbs in 6 posts, so it would take 6 posts before the body is taken over. Though this is easily noticeable and the body part taking over the implantee can be removed to stop this process and thus avoid becoming a copy of the original. This makes the Lycan clan a hard one to obtain. Thus there was a technique created long ago by a rogue member who sold the clan out to others against the first Alpha's will. This technique is the way for other's to obtain the Lycan abilities due to it not being able to be implanted without loosing control over their body. -See Clan Jutsu-

Description: This is the Lycan's technique to make others into a Lycan, and must be used aside from an implant. As using an implant will lead to that body part to regenerate and eventually take over the body of the implantee. So this technique was created as every clan must have a way to be "implanted" right? So this technique works simply by a Lycan member knowing it IC, and then biting the target to make them a Lycan. They will start to transform into a Lycan, and must train the newly found abilities like any "implant" to have control over it. WC to do this is the same as implant rules. Like all "implants" there is a risk to the implantee, a dice roll must be made to determine whether the target dies or not. Having stage one will require an 8 or higher roll to be successful. Stage two requires a 6 or higher. Stage three requires a 4 or higher. The Alpha only needs to roll a 2 or higher to make the "implant" a success.
Weakness: The dice roll must be rolled correctly according to the clan member's level of Raikan Henkan. Any lower than the stated number will lead to the target being poisoned by the venom of the Lycan used to transform them, they only have two posts for someone to cure them of the poison if they want to live. If the bite is used again on the same target afterwards and fails again to roll a success dice, you will certainly die from the "transplant" failing. Your immune system keeps being damaged by the venom with each bite, so if you're bitten for the second time and it's a failed roll then that's the reason you die. Just like normal implants, you die from a failed roll except with the bite you get two chances.
Clan History: The Raikan clan was once a clan who resided within the village of Otogakure. They were a group of Shinobi that were close with the village and fought alongside it's military forces in many battles. Though they never knew of their ability to transform into the beasts called Lycans. Until a few generations ago when the clan had its first outbreak, a skilled shinobi who led the clan. When he awakened the Raikan Henkan, many started to fear the clan. He was a man who longed for peace, the battles he's endured alongside his clan has left them loosing loved ones and it showed him how torn this world really is. Full of pain and hatred. He then devised a plan to spread the balance of power through the villages. If everyone had the same power, then no one would win or loose right? However there was always someone stronger than someone else. He didn't care though, if he could at least shift the balance a little he'd be satisfied. He started to teach other members how to use the Raikan Henkan and unlock it. At first they only knew of the first transformation. But as he continued teaching them he himself became stronger and unlocked two more transformations. When his plan was put into place, he unlocked the final stage of the Raikan Henkan, making him the Alpha of the Lycans.
His plan was simple, he'd spread his clan out into the other villages. As time went on and the man grew older, he started to notice that everyone he had taught to unlock the Raikan Henkan had children who were able to do this from birth. Within every village he sent the Lycans into, he had appointed a Pack Leader for each of them. And thus the system for the Lycans was created. The Alpha would maintain the balance between the packs as long as he could, if one of the pack leaders had achieved a higher transformation than the others then he would teach the others how to achieve the next level.
Eventually there grew a lust for the final stage of the Lycan's power, the Alpha stage. One of the pack leaders wanted this final stage, but he soon realized that it was impossible for anyone but the Alpha himself to obtain it. Which meant he'd have to kill the Alpha himself in order to achieve the Alpha form. He rallied up his pack and told them of his plan, however they were all too loyal towards the Alpha and none wanted anything to do with this plan. They exiled him, and spread the word to the Alpha of this ex-pack leader's plan. The Alpha would then appoint a new Pack Leader, and prepare to kill the rouge Lycan. The Rouge Lycan would go into hiding, and start to devise a plan to take out the Alpha. This Lycan wanted to get others involved and turn them into Lycans too as to create his own military force to take on the Alpha and Otogakure who would stand with the Alpha.
It was however impossible for him to make new Lycans out of other Shinobi through transplant methods as it lead to them just becoming copies of him, and he didn't want copies, he needed versatility. He started to research the Lycan genes and created a technique that would allow him to turn others into Lycans. It had a chance of the victim dying, but it was of no matter to him. He raised his military force of ronin transformed into Lycans. He started training them, but the Alpha was no stupid man and knew the exact ins and outs of the Raikan Henkan. He started to teach his own pack in Otogakure the third stage of the Raikan Henkan for the battle of the beasts that was soon to come.
The Alpha and his pack would head towards the Rogue Pack. Though the Alpha had no intention of killing them, he seeked peace and wanted no bloodshed. He confronted the Rogue Pack Leader and tried to convince him to turn back and save a lot of lives, but he was content on killing the Alpha. The Lycan's weakness against their own true leader the Alpha was realized that day and it lead to the Rogue Pack Leader's death. As the battle begun the howls and growls could be heard miles away, but that wasn't the howls of the RPL (Rogue Pack Leader).He wasn't able to transform and in the end seemed weaker than before. It was realized that taking on the Alpha meant that you'd loose your ability to use the clan's Raikan Henkan and everything that came with it, including your ability to heal. It was a sad day that day for the Alpha, he had to kill someone who was once one of his strongest allies, as well as others who were turned through the Lycan's Bite.
Since then, none of the pack members had challenged the Alpha to date. The clan is still spread out over the villages of Konoha, Oto, Kumo and Kiri. However with the merging of the villages of Kumo, Suna and Iwa, there was another shift in the balance of power. Kumo was now the strongest considering their numbers when it comes to the Lycans. But with the birth of a direct descendant of the first Alpha being born about 17 years ago, who knows what will happen.
