There mustn’t be any mission that involved the assassination of an individual, no matter how significant or insignificant said individual, nor gangs that needed to be taught a thing or two, or better yet, needed to be eradicated. It honestly had to be one of the most peaceful months that Kirigakure had had for a while, for she saw no other reason why she had been running amok completing the chores usually assigned to Genin, granted that she was merely a rank higher than they but a higher rank nonetheless. Don’t get her wrong, peace was nice and all, but since her original purpose in life was to feel the blood of her victims upon her hand, one could say that she was missing the adrenaline rush she received when it came to eradication and assassination missions. Yet going to ask for such a mission was out of the question, especially since she would be doing plenty of killing when she entered the Anbu corps, fading into obscurity whilst keeping her promise to the Mizukage.
Until than she would complete these mundane task, train, and enjoy the company of her sister and wolf pups. All of which could be completed in one go on missions such as this, which consisted of digging through the dirt for worms and taking crates of fish from the docks to the marketplace. Being that they already had to go back to the docks to not only get the crates but to drop off the worms, Chikara had decided that the duo plus their pups would retrieve worms from the dirt first. With two buckets to fill up, the eldest knew that they would be here for sometime and that they would be getting really dirty. She guessed it was nice that the two would be able to hose off afterwards before departing for the fish market, but than again they would smell like fish later on. Which was the lesser of two evils, well Chikara really didn’t want to pick for both were disgusting to say the least, but she would live.
So with as much focus as she could muster up, and several mud pies later, Chikara finished filling her bucket up with worms, holding the bucket by its hilt as she made her way out of the dirt and onto the road. Setting it down, she would scoop Kurisu into her arms, tsk’ing as she noted how dirty the dark-haired pup was and promising to give him a good bath once the two were home. With eyes on Shinku, she waited for the fickle minded girl to finish her task, something that would take an entire hour to complete but at least she had done it without the help of Chikara. The two would than proceed back to the docks, handing the bait off to one of the many fishers before taking a quick break to prepare them for the next task. Hosing one another down as well as the pups, though Arisu didn’t look much better for her fur had gone from pure white to dingy brown, the two would settle down for a quick snack.
It had consisted of an apple, a granola bar, and a bottle of water, something that was simple but at the same time would provide them with much needed energy. Fueled up on some snacks, the duo would begin to deliver crate on top of crate to the marketplace, something that had proven difficult for the simple fact that the marketplace was on the opposite side of the village, and with each crate weighing at least fifty pounds each, well carrying that weight around for extended periods of time would only prove to tire out the arms of the Shurajo siblings. Much to the disdain of Chikara, she had to stop and rest several times, knowing that if she pushed herself too hard that she could end up tainting the cargo that she was transporting. Besides, Shinku also needed to rest, much more frequently may she add, for she weighed only a little more than the crates and thus was carry something around that was equal to her weight.
Lucky that they had most of the afternoon to complete the task of moving ten crates full of fish to the marketplace, the girls did well to give themselves five minute breaks here and there whilst also trying out various ways of getting the crates to where they needed to go. Two at a time hadn’t really worked out well, so they had decided to take one crate at a time, taking turns holding it as they made their way to the destination. But that took too much time, with the constant switching of crates between the two. So they had tried holding the crate together, either one carrying one side of the box and taking only two breaks on the way to the marketplace. The two tried various other methods, all the while Arisu and Kurisu were content with trotting behind them, watching as the two ladies worked with their black eyes. But the two had finally decided upon the third one, for there was less resting periods and thus they transported the goods faster than they had at the beginning.
Much to the pleasure of both girls, the duo transported the last crate by time evening rolled around. Exhausted, Chikara couldn’t help but rest at the marketplace, no matter how crowded or fishy the place was. Yet an hour later, she finally would rise from her resting, deciding that since she was already at the marketplace that she may as well do some grocery shopping. Another hour later, the duo would leave the marketplace with a good deal of bags, the telltale sign that they had bought plenty of groceries. Apparently people gave discounts over at this marketplace, and thus she was able to buy a lot more than usual. Thusly so, she decided that she would be shopping at this marketplace for now on, and with her sister and their pups, she would head home, quite ready to take a long shower.
