Description: Here at Kirigakure, while not clean freaks, there are standards that must be met. While the shinobi haven't quite complained, other clients and visitors have mentioned a few things about the state in which the outskirts of the village and the entrance are in. Get cleaning, and if someone displays some "not-so-clean" behavior, give them a talk.
Cleaning the entrance to the village as well as the outskirts of the village hadn’t been something that Chikara wanted to do; exhausted from the amount of missions she had been bombarded with. Sure simple measures had been thrown at her, but when one does them on a regular basis and without a break they tended to get tired out. So it had been no surprise that when she had emerged from her house to complete the task at hand with her sister and their pups, that she was working quickly. She had every desire to go home early and thus taking her time collecting trash wouldn’t actually make things quick. Knowing that her sister was tired, and probably would be a very unhappy Shurajo if she were not able to get some rest soon, Shinku to work fast, at least faster than she usually did in the eyes of Chikara.
Stuffing wrappers, cups, bottles, etc., into the bag that she had brought along, Chikara and Kurisu were both doing well to complete the task as quickly and as efficiently as possible. There was no need to be called back outside because they had failed to complete the task earlier. And to be frank if she were called back out to redo the job that she had sloppily done due to being tired, she would definitely flip out. So they checked every nook and cranny for garbage that needed to be off the streets, whilst also lecturing those who dare throw garbage upon the streets, especially when they should had noticed tow girls and two wolf pups picking trash up and stuffing them into the bag.
Honestly, Chikara didn’t think it was that hard to throw away garbage, especially when there were trashcans on every street. Well, maybe not every street, but certainly on every block, which was basically every street now that Chikara thought about it. But that didn’t really matter since that still didn’t explain why people had to be so nasty. She wasn’t the sort of individual to fight for the cleanliness of the environment, for getting involved in such a thing wasn’t something on her agenda. Nor did she really have room on her list to put it even if she wanted to add it to the agenda, which she didn’t.
She glance at her sister with tired eyes, head snapping down to the ground as she caught the silent yawn of her pup from the corner of her eye, and knowing full well that Kurisu needed a nap, instructed her sister to pick up the pace. The duo that consisted of Chikara and Kurisu did the same, picking up the trash with much more haste than they had earlier, though rushing hadn’t really worked in the favor in the end for the two would need some time to rest thirty minutes into the task. It annoyed Chikara greatly that the task wasn’t complete, but instead of going back out and overexerting herself, she decided that resting for five minutes wouldn’t be that bad. At least not for the moment since whilst she and Kurisu rest, Shinku and Arisu would continue to clean.
Content with watching their respective younger sibling, the two sat underneath one of the trees that lined the streets of Kirigakure. They hadn’t sat underneath if for shade, since the sun was rarely able to pierce the thick mist that the village was known for, but it wasn’t like they would welcome the sun anyways. Working underneath the sun only proved to make people hot, sweaty, and ready to punch anyone and everybody in the face in irritation. Something that Chikara herself would never want to do since she had an image to keep up, at least for the moment. She honestly couldn’t wait for a time that she was placed into the Anbu corps, for than she could definitely do some missions that she liked doing as well as fade into obscurity until she decided that the Anbu life was no longer for her. Apparently her sister had intentions of joining the Anbu as well, though she was only doing so because her older sister was, something that Chikara found to be adorable.
After musing for what had seemed like no more than three minutes but was probably ten, Chikara and Kurisu would continue with the task. And in the next hour, the outskirts and the entrance were clean and Kurisu and Chikara were at home, sleeping upon the couch.
