When it comes to interrogating he believes the best way to get information out of people is by making them want to give it up, through comfort.

History: Although all Uzumakis are related Alder did not come from a line that branched from Naruto. Alder’s predecessors settled in the Land that houses Takigakure. They were among the few Uzumaki’s who remember their lineage and taught their successors the clan’s history. Although most techniques were lost they made it a mission to preserve their jutsu and keep the clan alive. Although they stayed in the shadows do their few numbers they managed to keep the family alive.
Alder’s father Caulio Uzumaki was not a ninja he was well reversed in the clan’s techniques that had been passed down. He taught Alder’s these technique’s to Alder in his youth. He also is the reason Alder decided to become a ninja. The history taught him made him desire more knowledge and strength so that one day he would have to hide who was but instead recognized for it. Alder was also informed of the past relationship between Konoha and Uzushiogakure. Alder always wondered why Konoha had let the Uzumaki’s village get destroyed and worst leave them to fend for their selves as they scattered across the world.
When Alder was 10 Caulico was able to procure permission from the Earth Daiyomo to allow Alder permission to move to Iwagakure. This was because the Daiyomo recognized the potential benefit to raising the young Uzumaki as a ninja for the country.
Alder was the prodigy of his generation. He was able to grasp everything he was taught during school. But most of his growth came from self study. He typically spent his time studying more advance subjects while his classmates were still working kunai practice. Despite his talent he kept working hard and never settled knowing that he became complacent he would get passed by. Knowing the value of a team he made a conscious effort to spend time with his classmates whom he cared for. Generally the class like him and weren’t jealous of his talent but admired it. Alder saw the bottomless potential of his classmates and treated them all with respect never underestimating what they might grow to.
As a Genin he preferred to start specializing in more of a supportive team role. He would gather information make strategy plans, hide in the shadows and cover the others. It was as Genin he first met Rikuyu. After having stopped Menma (another slug) from attacking Rikuyu he used his chakra transfer technique channeling Memna’s power to break the justu. It was at this time Alder’s squad came looking for him panicking Rikuyu covered Alder inside his body and ran away. After being released he introduced himself. Rikuyu ran again but Alder persisted on receiving a name and after being chased he split is body into many smaller slugs to escape. Rejoining with his group he noticed a trail of slime the spelled out the slug’s name. Since then Rikuyu would repeatedly show up and around Alder overtime growing comfortable enough to carry conversations with him.
A blood pact
It was around the time of the exams when Alder was brought to Damp Bone Forest. It was here where he signed the contract of the slugs. After studying the slugs Alder started developing ninjusu based upon them.
A not so grueling exam
Alder’s Chunin exam was in the Konoha. He used this opportunity to learn as much as he could about his clan’s past relationship with the country. Mostly relying on genjutsu and few sealing techniques Alder had an easier time than most other because of their unfamiliarity with these type of jutsu. The exam was still a learning experience seeing the technique variety in culmination with what he had learned from studying the Damp Bone Forest he began to see ninjutsu in new way. He realized that the form chakra was limited only limited by the imagination.
A new teacher
By studying nature and the fundamental principles of chakra he started developing new techniques. By manipulating his chakra in different ways such vibration he discovered how to create sound and later light. Using this new way to manipulate chakra he incorporated it in new genjutsu.

Although Alder normally played the supportive role he wanted to come a jutsu that would function as his trump card. It would take him 4 years to perfect the Helix Spear.
Captured behind enemy lines
While on a mission Alder was ambushed and captured. Recognizing him from the Chunin exams they were interest in the clans techniques and unique body, in addition they wanted to gain what knowledge they could about Iwa. For 3 days Alder was tortured with Iwa unable to locate him. His captures however didn’t know that Rikuyu was with him. Alder had kept his self under enhanced double Genjutsu with Rikuyu help. He made it so that captors thought he was resisting but instead they were be fed false information. During this time Rikuyu scouted information on the ninja and their location using this Alder was able to escape giving the information he obtained to Iwa.
After his return to Iwa he started to getting assigned to more informational gathering missions. He was later put on the torture and interrogation force. In spite of this he never tortured anyone, and couldn’t stand being in the presence during the torture. He avoided this through unique information extracting techniques. That relax targets to spilling information, instead of forcibly removing.
The rise to Jonin the plunge to darkness
After years of service and an impressive record Alder was promoted to Jonin and inducted into Anbu these promotions had given Alder more freedom and discretion than he had in the past.

The pair holds up an object reminiscent of an umbrellas with clear tops. Video Snails had been placed around the town so that the events of today could be displayed to management. Watching in silence they look with detachment.
