- Gokan o burendo [ Blended Senses ]
Enhanced Synesthesia, a neurological phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic and involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway, is thought to have been a cross-wiring in the earliest Puredetā member's brain, but through years of breeding it was found to be genetic. Without having physically gone into a Puredetā's brain it is thought that they posses a cross-wiring in their brains that have linked together their sense of smell with their sense of sight, thus allowing them to see smells of all odor ranges. With this developed form of Synesthesia the Puredetā have stayed trued to the literal translation of their names by becoming the ultimate Predators. By gaining such a mastery over the cross-wiring of their brain's they have developed a series of techniques that incorporate their other senses into their synesthetic experience.

- Iki no Kazan [ Breath of the Volcano ]
Or as is it is commonly referred to amongst the members of the Puredetā clan in modern day, Jōkiton [ Steam Release ] has been achieved through a biological mutation within their bodies. Rather than sweat glands located throughout the body, now a fluid filled sack-like gland replaces these. When the unique properties of the Puredetā chakra act on this gland the contents inside begin to boil and then a vapour releases through their pores as chakra enriched Steam with a base temperature of 212º F (100º C), giving a new meaning to the term 'Steam Power'. This unique feature to their body causes them to lack the ability to sweat and subsequently making their body's base temperature reaching 121º F, definitely hot to the touch, but sustainable to those with a bit of a pain tolerance. While in motion the abnormal temperature of their bodies will slowly cause the contents within their gland to boil and produce steam which will have to be released by the user every two posts.
[/size]- D Rank | The steam produced by techniques of this rank can cause flinching to occur, opponents would typically pull the afflicted area away from the source, if not the C Rank effects occur.
- C Rank | The steam produced by techniques of this rank can cause first degree burns effecting only the outer layer of skin, the epidermis. The inflicted area is usually red and very painful and healing through traditional methods last 3-5 days, or two posts using a Ijutsu technique of equivalent rank.
- B Rank | The steam produced by techniques of this rank can cause up to second degree burns with partial thickness effecting the entire epidermis and upper layers of the dermis. The inflicted area is usually left pink or red in color and painful, it's wet appearance harboring 3 painful blisters. Although scarring is minimal, the recovery through traditional methods lasts up to 10-5 days, or two posts using a Ijutsu technique of an equivalent rank and 4 posts for continuous treatment of a technique of a single rank lower.
- A Rank | The steam produced by techniques of this rank can cause up to second degree burns with full thickness effectively destroying entire epidermis and most of the dermis. The inflicted area is left red or white in appearance, but will appear dry. Although sensation is present, it is diminished causing the use of Taijutsu to be diminished by a single tier in the inflicted area for 4 posts while intense pain sets in. There is no traditional method of healing present, thus an Ijutsu user of Adept level an higher will need to perform an Ijutsu technique of the same rank in conjunction with skin grafting to inflicted areas for a duration of two posts.
- S Rank | The steam produced by techniques of this rank are of the highest caliber reaching up to third degree burns wherein all layers of skin is destroyed which extends into the subcutaneous tissues. The inflicted area will appear black or white and will be dry, leathery in texture when felt. Unlike with the lower ranks, scald victims will experience no pain in inflicted areas, shock is all that will set in if a survivor lives. There is no traditional method of healing present and if medical attention isn't sought out the user will experience death in 4 posts, Ijutsu users of Mastery level will need to perform an Ijutsu technique of the same rank in conjunction with skin grafting to an inflicted areas for a duration of two posts and for Ijutsu users of Adept level the post duration goes up to 4 posts.
- D Rank | The steam produced by techniques of this rank can cause flinching to occur, opponents would typically pull the afflicted area away from the source, if not the C Rank effects occur.

The force, temperature, and distance at which the jet of steam is expelled and can reach make this technique ideal for knocking weaponry or any other unsuspecting bystander off course that gets to close for comfort. Type: Kekkei Genkai | Taijutsu
Used For: Supplementary
Element: N/A
Range: Self
Duration: Maintainable
Hand Seals/Charge up: None
Description: The third of the three staple techniques taught to any Puredetā clansmen. Their chakra encases their special steam producing glands which causes the steam to remain in their bodies constantly building up pressure, thus providing an edge to their practice in Taijutsu over others in the same tier on grounds of strength. In addition, temperature of the built up steam within the users causes their base body temperature to rise from 121ºF to 212ºF, thus causing First Degree Burns upon contact with the user. Throughout the use of this technique the shell encasing the users glands becomes reddened which, due to the nature of skin, can be seen as Puredetā member's bodies turning red giving off the "hot" appearance to match the effect.
Upon releasing this technique the user will also release a fifteen meter (15 M) cloud of steam from their bodies, no harm can come from this on an opponent, but it's content is the stable for other Puredetā jutsu.
Weakness: The users location is given away when the technique is released. The users skin tone is a good indication that the technique is in use.
